Meet Miles Tade
Violinist for carlie wall
Miles Tade began his musical journey at the age of five through the Fiddling Lions program at his elementary school in Texas. Although he initially faced challenges reading sheet music, his instructor introduced him to an alternative learning method using cassette recordings. This approach, combined with the Suzuki Method, helped him develop a finely tuned ear and a strong foundation in musical expression.
Despite early difficulties in middle and high school orchestras, Miles remained committed to his craft. He actively participated in Solo and Ensemble Competitions, earning high marks for his performances. The summer before entering high school, he successfully auditioned for the Texas Youth Orchestra—a prestigious ensemble drawing top talent from both Houston and Dallas. With this group, he toured internationally, performing in Italy, Austria, and Germany. During his junior year at Memorial High School, his school orchestra won a statewide competition, earning the honor of performing at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
As an adult, Miles continued to pursue his passion by performing with several orchestras in Southern Utah. Seeking new creative outlets, he has spent the past three years exploring diverse musical genres. He has performed with bluegrass bands, taken part in local improvisational jam sessions, and become an active participant in the underground music scene—all of which reflect his ongoing dedication to growth, versatility, and artistic exploration as a violinist.
Meet Lance Kotter
Cellist/Harpist for Carlie Wall
Lance Kotter is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and Certified Music Practitioner whose love for music began before he could tie his shoes. Starting guitar at five and later discovering the cello in sixth grade, he immersed himself in advanced orchestras and bands through his school years. By high school, Lance had added drums, bass, multiple guitar styles, and vocals to his repertoire, eventually touring with a band.
In 2011, he found a lifelong companion—the harp—which inspired an original album in 2012. After two years in Poland on an LDS mission, he returned to expand his skills, launching his own project, Co-Create, while busking to fund business college. Today, Lance uses harp therapy to support patients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, dementia, and end-of-life care, while continuing live and studio collaborations.
Beyond music, Lance is the founder of Elemental Health in St. George, specializing in hormone optimization, IV therapy, peptides, and medical weight loss. He is preparing to begin osteopathic medical school in 2026 in Ivins, Utah. A lifelong metalhead with eclectic tastes, Lance draws inspiration from genres spanning cinematic scores to bluegrass. When not composing, he’s outdoors hiking or searching for great Indian food—usually with a harp or cello close by.
