Every band has a story—a moment when separate paths collide to create something bigger than each individual. For us, that story began with a leap of faith, a spark of courage, and the undeniable pull of music.
It started with me, Carlie Wall, feeling the nudge from Spirit to fully embrace the gifts I had been given. I told myself: “If I start now, my entire life will look different in a year.”
That decision led me to an open mic night at Blues Katz Rock n Roll Grill, a local spot known for welcoming musicians of all kinds. It had been years since I performed live, and to my surprise, I was nervous—strange for someone who had once performed in front of thousands at just 14 and 15 years old. But Spirit reminded me: “If you’re afraid of it, that’s exactly why you need to do it.”
So I went.
After my set, I stepped off the stage and was immediately approached by a guy who introduced himself as Miles. His first words were: “I am a violinist.” Without hesitation, I replied: “I NEED a violinist!”
As fate would have it, Miles had recently connected with a cellist named Lance, someone he’d met at the very same open mic. My response? “I need a cellist, too!”
That was the beginning.
Within just a couple of months, the three of us—Miles, Lance, and myself—came together and started shaping my music into something new, alive with orchestral energy woven into heartfelt songwriting. In only three months, we’ve been in the studio recording, filming our first music video, and even being featured on St. George News for their “Paper Jamz” segment, sponsored by Cloud 9, one of Southern Utah’s most recognized businesses.
It all happened so fast, yet it felt divinely timed. Every step revealed another opportunity, another open door, another reminder that we were exactly where we needed to be.
Now, we’re preparing to release our debut single, “OCEAN,” on September 25, 2025 across all major platforms including Spotify and Apple Music. To celebrate, we’re hosting a Single Release Party on Saturday, November 8th—an event we’ve poured our hearts into creating for our community, friends, and supporters.
We’ve also been blessed with incredible sponsors who have supported us along this journey, helping us turn dreams into reality. But more than anything, this band has become a family. I’m endlessly grateful for my brothers and bandmates—Miles and Lance—who make this journey three times better simply because they’re walking it with me.
God is good. Music is magic. And this is just the beginning.
With love,
Carlie
